Made with Amy Butler fabric from her Love collection as well as some Michael Miller, Denyse Schmidt and a unique hot air balloon print for good measure. These look amazing on Lauren. The wide straps and generous use of fabric in straps and hem widths and linings give these a very high quality look. Even better than boutique...these are handmade heirloom dresses.

New Fabric

So Hancocks of Paducah was having a little sale on Amy Butler's latest collection Love (I couldn't believe it)! So I put a few yards in my shopping cart. Then I noticed another collection, Moda's Botany, that I'd had my eye on. Once those babies went in the cart they were marked down even more to $4 yard! The I spotted some Michael Miller fabrics on clearance too. Oh and some Sandi Henderson. Needless to say...stay tuned for some glorious new stuff!!

Chicago Craft Social

I missed the last one because I was out of town or having a baby (I think it was both) anyway, there is another Chicago Craft Social on the books. This one is being held at Vineyard Church, which is awesome since I used to meet there for Community Bible Study. I know right where it is and they do have an awesome space. Plus it's close to my house. I will probably try to convince some girlfriends to go with me.

Tons of New Stuff in our Etsy Shop

The Lincoln Square Market got a lot of rain yesterday so we have brought our items online! You can shop for all our items, most ready to ship in our Etsy store. We have knot dresses, baby burp cloths, nursing covers and more. Most items make excellent baby shower gifts. You can have a gift that gets Ohhhs and Ahhhs because of the unique and lovely fabrics. It's certainly a boutique look!

Lincoln Square Neighborhood Market

Just look at those beautiful new dresses! They are fresh off the sewing machine, along with a ton of other all new stuff... I'm selling Mommy Said Sew items in my first craft fair!

What: Lincoln Square Neighborhood Market
When: Saturday, June 5 from 8am - 4pm
Where: 2150 W. Lawrence (parking lot between Leavitt and Hamilton)

This weekend is the Lincoln Square MayFest, so the whole neighborhood will be filled with food and drink vendors, live music, artists, crafters and other neat stuff. Fun for the whole family!

Come check out my booth. I plan to have dresses, skirts, nursing covers, burp cloth sets, taggies and maybe some other items. I might even get my act together and have a sale rack of consignment items (little girls clothing). Sizes will range from 12 months to size 6. Nursing covers and burp cloth sets will be available in boy, girl or gender neutral prints.
