Welcome to my sewing blog. My name is Liz and I'm a mom to two girls under 5 and sewing for them is one of my passions. I have 2 Etsy shops: PlumSparrow and MommySaidSew. For May Giveaway Day, I've decided to offer both a handmade prize, a T-SHIRT DRESS and a bunch of fabric scraps. One winner gets both the dress and the scraps.

More info: the t-shirt dress is made from upcycled parts of three different t-shirts. The pattern pieces for the dress were cut out and assembled with all new seams and elastic through the neckline. The dress shown utilizes a plain hot pink t-shirt, a plain black t-shirt and a heather grey Le Miserables t-shirt. The dress is a toddler size 3T (knee kength). It will fit longer like a prairie dress on a 2T and shorter like a tunic on a 4T... there is enough room in the chest and armpits because of the gathering of the material in the neck and sleeve line. The scrap bag will be a good size offering of all kinds of fun scraps from premium quilting cotton and who knows what else.
